Overview
The new-look Ford Ranger is now into its first facelift. The latest PK model shows a glitzy new front end and some rear end modifications giving it a more, um, urban look. The Ranger expands its range of XL and XLT (now with standard side airbags) variants, while adding a new Wildtrack model equipped with 18-inch alloys, sports bar and a roller-shutter tray cover. Four-cylinder turbodiesel power is the only way to go, with a 105kW/320 2.5-litre, or a 115kW/380Nm 3.0-litre driving five-speed manual or four-speed auto transmissions. Dual airbags, limited-slip differentials and air-conditioning are standard across the range.
