Ford is the only local manufacturer offering a cab/chassis version of the ute now that Holden has pulled out of the race. Across the range the towing capacity runs from 1200kg for the manual transmission, to 1600kg for the auto, with an optional 2300kg pack available, depending on local regulations. Load capacities run from 1220kg to 1240kg depending on model variants. The FG cab-chassis is available with the base 195kW/391Nm petrol or 156kW371Nm 'E-Gas' six. Stability control is now an option; dual airbags are standard, with traction control and side airbags optional. iPod and Bluetooth integrations are now standard.
