Overview
The Alfa Romeo 159 sedan replaced the 156 in 2006, bringing more size, space and refinement to the car that re-established Alfa in Australia. The mid-size Alfa competes effectively against BMW three series and Benz C-Class. A Sportwagon 159 followed to extend Alfa's competitiveness in 2007. The 159 offers four-cylinder and V6 engines, and two turbo diesels. The 191kW/322Nm 3.2 V6 Q4 also brings full-time 4WD and, being an Alfa, offers auto or manual six-speed transmission. Equipment is impressive: To the regular Q4, Ti adds upgraded brakes, a body kit, sports suspension with 19-inch alloys, and grippy sports seats.
