Almost unbelievably, this is the first model Abarth to be sold in Australia - 60 years in the coming. And they've got it right, with the little fireball punching low 7-second 0-100km/h times, matched with sticky rubber on 17-inch alloys, cross-drilled discs and a comprehensively worked over suspension. Subtle body changes hide the necessary room required to fit larger components and improve aerodynamics. Drive is to the front wheels via a five-speed manual in the Esseese Hatchback or automated manual (MTA) in the Esseese C convertible with its steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. All this and still five ANCAP stars.
