Regretfully selling our Forester XT as we have upgraded to a bigger car with the expansion of our family. This car has never skipped a beat and is ever reliable.
It’s a great platform and could be utilised for a number of different applications given its space in the boot, all wheel drive and 2.5L turbo drivetrain.
The car is in great shape for its age and Km’s. It has only been used for my wife’s work commute and a few road trips. Original owner was out in country vic so all highway Km’s. car has been serviced every 10k and i will get a fresh service before the sale.
Externally there are a few minor scratches but nothing that wouldn’t buff out with a good detail. Interior is nice and clean for the age.
The car is approaching the 300,000Km mark but that’s not too old for these foresters which regularly go beyond the 400,000Km mark
Turbo and radiator replaced with new units in the last 30,000Km’s
The car is mechanically in great condition with the only issue being the rear bushes needing replacement (car still drives fine but the ride can be slightly noisier on bumpy surfaces)
It’s never been thrashed or modified but the EJ25’s true potential would be unlocked with a good high flowing exhaust.
The only aftermarket item on this car is a reverse camera which comes up on the rear vision mirror which is handy for reverse parking.
The car will come with a roadworthy and rego.

Overview
The third generation, constant all-wheel drive Subaru Forester SUV comes with more of everything - new looks, a bigger interior and revisions to the both the regular (126kW/229Nm) and turbo (169kW/320Nm) 2.5-litre boxer engines. Transmissions are a four-speed auto or a five-speed manual. Bumping the wheelbase by 90mm increased passenger and cargo space, as did a widening of the body by 60mm. Still no off-roader, the Forester nevertheless manages good ground clearance (220mm), while approach and departure angles compare with Mitsubishi Outlander and Honda CR-V. The five-star ANCAP Forester has six airbags, stability control and updated all-disc ABS brakes.
