The Mitsubishi VR-X heads the Colt range and is only topped by the feisty Ralliart variant. Its power comes from the perky 77kW 1-5-litre inline four-cylinder engine that develops 141Nm of torque. Key features over the entry Colts include 15-inch alloy wheels and parabola type front fog lamps. Body-coloured door handles, rear spoiler and front and rear airdam also set it apart from its siblings. Alloy sports pedals spice up the driving compartment along with a high contrast instrument cluster. The VR-X is offered with either a continuously variable automatic transmission or five-speed manual. Fitted with the CVT, the VR-X Colt claims 5.6L/100km; 0.3litre less than the manual model.
