The car is mechanically running well, with the crank angle sensor recently replaced, front tyres replaced in December 2025, and good tread remaining on the rear tyres.

The Santa Fe was Hyundai's initial foray into the SUV segment in 2000. The current model came in 2006 with much more space, refinement, safety - and sharp pricing. It also brought the possibility of seven seats. Today, it is available with just one engine - a powerful, thrifty 2.2-litre turbo diesel and manual or auto six-speed transmissions. On-demand 4WD means most road time is spent as a front-driver. The four-cylinder turbo diesel produces 145kW/436Nm (421Nm for the manual). Standard equipment includes stability control, rear parking sensors, cruise control and alloy wheels.
