Citroen moved away from the slab-sided look of its previous C5 with the latest version introduced locally in 2008. Available in sedan and Tourer wagon form the C5 comes in base Comfort and upmarket Exclusive form with the choice of two turbodiesels - a 120kW/340Nm four-cylinder 2.0-litre and a 177kW/450Nm 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6. Both hook up to a six-speed auto. The suspension is special: Citroen's all-hydraulic Hydractive 3+ system separates it from competitors. Interior space is fine, and there's the exclusivity of the fixed-hub steering wheel. A 103kW 2.0-litre petrol version is available for a short period in 2010.
