At the tail end of 2007 Chrysler introduced the convertible version of its Sebring sedan -- a niche version of a niche product. There's something else as well: the Chrysler allows buyers to choose whether they want a fabric convertible, or join the metal-roof coupe-convertible push by forking out something like $7,500 extra for the Limited version. The Sebring convertible uses the Limited sedan's 137kW/256Nm 2.7-litre V6 engine driving through a six-speed auto gearbox. The folding-hardtop Sebring Limited convertible adds 18-inch alloys, leather trim, heated front seats -- powered on the driver's side -- and six-speaker CD audio to Touring equipment.
