Selling my 2010 BMW X5 M, a proper M car with the S63 4.4L Twin-Turbo V8 pushing 550hp. This is not just a luxury SUV, it’s an experience. Brutally quick for a 2.3-tonne vehicle, yet comfortable and refined enough for long drives.
I bought the car about two years ago while we were living in Perth. From day one, it’s been looked after properly. The car has always been well maintained throughout its life, with servicing done on time and no shortcuts taken. It comes with full service history and a record of all repairs and maintenance done till date.
In the end of May 2025, we relocated to Melbourne and drove the car around 3,500 km from Perth. Before the trip, I went over the car thoroughly to make sure it was in top shape. It received new front tyres, new brakes, and, most importantly, replacement of all crankcase ventilation hoses as preventative maintenance. The drive was effortless and reliable, a true testament to how solid this car is when cared for properly.
The previous owner had already taken care of major known items, including valve stem seals and related work at around 160,000 km, which adds real peace of mind.
Inside, the car is exactly what an M should be. The 16 speaker sound system is incredible with 2 subwoofers mounted under the front seats, the heated M seats are extremely comfortable, and every drive reminds you why BMW M cars are so special. It also has soft closing doors, power tailgate, keyless start, 360 reverse camera and more luxury features.
Since moving to Melbourne, life has been busy re-establishing ourselves, and unfortunately the car doesn’t get driven as much as it deserves. We also don’t have a proper garage, and while I start and drive it a couple of times each month to keep everything healthy, it feels wrong letting a car like this sit around. It deserves an owner who can house it properly, care for it, and truly enjoy what it offers.
For a 15 year old car, it's in great shape and excellent condition.
This is a genuine, well-sorted X5 M, owned by someone who understands these cars and has maintained it accordingly.
Price is slightly negotiable for the right buyer only. I’m not in a rush to sell and will not entertain low offers or unrealistic negotiations.
