The Dualis is Nissan's most road-focussed SUV with some X-Trail underpinnings but aimed more at delivering a driving experience that presents no challenge to those accustomed to regular sedans ands coupes, yet still offers some scope for slightly off-track exploration. The drivetrain, similar to X-Trail, is on-demand 4WD but the lower-slung dimensions, lighter weight and 2.0-litre engine combine to make it all a more compact experience. The DOHC powerplant produces 102kW and 198Nm, driving through either a six-speed manual or CVT transmission. Base ST gear includes ABS braking, front airbags, active front head restraints, cruise control, air-conditioning and four-speaker, single CD audio.
