Mitsubishi's latest Lancer series lifts the previously conservative model to new levels of awareness. The upmarket Aspire sedan comes with CVT transmission hooking up to a bigger 125kW/226Nm 2.4-litre engine. With competitive interior space and standard equipment, as well as the availability of as many as seven airbags, the Mitsubishi small car has truly come of age. The range embraces 2.0-litre ES and VR, 2.4-litre VRX and Aspire, and the turbocharged 4WD Ralliart.
