Overview
The C-Class sedan based CLK coupe and cabriolet aims at the segment also occupied by BMW's 3 Series coupe and convertible, Audi's A4 convertible and A5 coupe, and Saab's 9-3 convertible. A step up from the CLK 200 is the CLK 280 with 170kW and 300Nm of three-litre V6 delivering smooth, responsive power. Standard transmission is the seven-speed 7G-Tronic auto. The Avantgarde CLK 280 adds 17-inch AMG alloys, steering wheel, front apron, rear apron and side skirts to equipment including power sunroof, satellite navigation, eight airbags, active front head restraints, parking sensors and full leather trim.
