FOR SALE: 2009 Kia Rio XL – Reliable, Fun, and Well-Loved
Looking for a dependable and budget-friendly ride? I'm selling my beloved 2009 Kia Rio XL, available from July 2nd. It's been a great car—fun to drive, easy to maintain, and perfect for daily use or as a first car.
🔹 Good Used Condition – Some marks on the exterior (see photos), but nothing that affects performance.
🔹 Well-Maintained – Regularly serviced and kept clean throughout its life.
🔹 Mechanically Sound – Drives great and has never let me down.
🔹 Rego Until September 2025 – Drive away with peace of mind.
🔹 Minor Fix Needed – The gas struts for the trunk need replacing, but I'm happy to cover the cost of new struts for the buyer.
🔹 Selling Reason – Recently upgraded to a new Mazda, otherwise I’d be keeping it!

The Kia Rio nameplate has been with us since 2000, when the Korean company offered a sedan and hatchback aimed at the light car class. Today's Rio has more power, space and refinement # with only a slight jacking up of the price. In sedan and hatch form, the current Rio arrived in 2005 and is spacious, nicely presented and quite punchy, even the 70kW/125Nm 1.4-litre engine in the base LX hatch. Transmissions are a five-speed manual or a four-speed auto. All Rios come with dual airbags, air-conditioning and six-speaker CD audio.
