Overview
Holden's billion-dollar VE Commodore launched in August 2006, bringing new levels of sophistication, safety, dynamics, comfort, space and style. In base Omega and Lumina models, the 180kW V6 is standard, while a dual-fuel V6 is also available, slightly detuned to 175kW and 325Nm and employing the now-elderly four-speed auto. Two new, super-efficient V6s are due shortly. The International Commodore sedan and Sportwagon come with regular or LPG V6 engines and add 18-inch alloys, Bluetooth, rear park assist, leather seats and a six-stack CD player above base Commodore gear which includes four-speed auto, stability and traction control, and six airbags.
