Ford brought the mid-sized, front-drive Mondeo back to Australia in October 2007 and it was a welcome return with its Euro looks, specification and on-road dynamics. An update in July 2009 added a wagon to the local range, along with a revision of equipment levels and the addition of new features bringing a leather trimmed steering wheel, cruise control and Bluetooth connectivity across the range. The new Titanium edition hatch comes with a body kit, 18-inch alloys, sunroof, adaptive cruise control and active halogen headlights. Standard engine is the 118kW/208Nm 2.3-litre four-cylinder driving through a six-speed sequential auto transmission.
