Overview
Ford's Focus hatch and sedan models were freshened up with the latest LV versions arriving early in 2009. A new front end, and a revised interior give the beneficiary of a model-sharing programme with Volvo and Mazda a modish new look. The range embraces base CL, LX, Zetec, TDCi and XR5 models with engines ranging from a 107kW 2.0-litre petrol through a 100kW 2.0-litre turbodiesel to the XR5's 166kW Volvo-sourced five-cylinder turbo. Zetec versions add stability and traction control, sports suspension, automatic climate control, six-stack CD player, body kit and 17-inch alloys to LX specification.
