Overview
Ford has a new Fiesta in its ranks and could be redefining what is generally expected of a light car. Almost bridging the gap to the small car class, the Fiesta is available in three or five-door form and offers high levels of safety, dynamics, comfort and quality. Passenger space is claimed to be class-leading and there's an uncommon air of refinement. Engines are an 88kW/152Nm 1.6-litre in five-speed manual form only, or a four-speed auto-only 71kW/125Nm 1.4-litre. ABS is standard on CL, LX and Zetec models, while the latter gains stability control, and side and driver's knee airbags.
