Overview
The Alfa Romeo 159 sedan replaced the 156 in 2006, bringing more size, space and refinement to the car that re-established Alfa in Australia. The mid-size Alfa competes effectively against BMW three series and Benz C-Class. The 159 offers four-cylinder and V6 engines, and two turbodiesels. The 147kW/400Nm 2.4-litre five-cylinder JTD turbodiesel drives six-speed manual or auto transmissions. The JTD Ti version adds an extra touch of Alfa sportiness with body kit, 19-inch alloys and a plusher interior with heated and powered front seats on top of regular JTS equipment.
