Volvo C30 R-Design T5.
I've had to get a diesel with a large boot and it's not getting the use it deserves. This is a genuinely special car and it’s time it goes to someone who will enjoy it properly.
The C30’s T5 engine shares the same platform as the Ford Focus XR5, well known for its performance. Tight through corners, satisfying in a straight line and it sounds so good. It is a genuinely fun car to drive.
Volvo safe, it has 6 airbags including side, with an ANCAP safety rating of 5.
Will be sold with RWC & reg until late July.
These are getting rare, so I purchased the car knowing it had a head gasket issue and have invested $7k in major mechanical work to bring it up to excellent condition (receipts available).
All major work has been completed less than 10,000km ago, and includes replaced:
• Cylinder head recondition & gasket VRS Kit
• Timing belt
• Oil sump
• Aircon compressor & re-gas
• Spark plugs (all)
• Battery
• Transmission service & new oil
• Full cooling system replacement (water pump, thermostat, hoses, sensors, etc.)
• Rear swaybar links
• O rings - Solenoid both valve O ring, Turbo (Lower) Metal Hose O ring, Camshaft (rear screws)
Interior is very clean and all controls and gauges work. Comes with one key.
Cosmetically, there are a few honest imperfections:
• Some sun fade beginning on the driver’s door and front quarter panel
• Wheels have significant parking/road rash (present when we purchased the car)
• Passenger sun visor mirror cracked
These are reflected in the price, but mechanically the car is in excellent condition.
