If you want to drive around the city in a little cosy classic car - like that of movies - then you have arrived at the right place; this is a very well looked after car and close to flawless paint and looks. The engine runs nice, quick and zippy and no issues with water or oil leakage.
The only issue which I see myself responsible to mention to all the potential buyers, is that when idling, for some little while let’s say behind red light, once you take off, the car smokes; for that I have tried the following:
- changed pcv valve
- lengthy and costly work of changing stem valve seals
- replaced rocker cover
- replaced camshaft tensioner
- put in new catalytic converter
- got both oxygen sensors changed
and…
But the issue still persists; that’s why I’ve put the price way below the market value to sell as i need to travel soon; otherwise i found a mechanic whom i was gonna go ahead with and fix the problem.
