I've owned this remarkable car for 12 years and it has been well maintained, being serviced at Kloster BMW Newcastle. There are no current issues or problems. It's been recently serviced - oils, filters and left and right lower control arms were replaced. No expense has been spared on this beautiful vehicle. Only issue I've had is a troublesome ABS Hydro unit ($8k), which has been replaced. Brakepads replaced as required, rotors good, no leaks, currently riding on near new Pirelli PZero Sport. Have all receipts, log books, instruction manuals and both remote controllers.
The E63 BMW M6 is a high-performance coupe, this one built in Nov 2007 and first registered Apr 2008. Known for its powerful V10 engine and sporty design. The stunning S85 V10 engine produces 373 kilowatts (507 horsepower) and delivers a unique, high-pitched sound that is often described as a wail, especially when the engine is revved up.
At lower RPMs, the engine has a distinctive, somewhat rough or "diesel-like" harmonic sound. A truly unique sound. Google some video clips and have a listen.
The engine's design and sound are inspired by the Formula One engines of the time, contributing to its unique character.
The engine's 8,250 rpm redline allows it to reach high revs, creating a thrilling and sonically dramatic experience. I've engaged launch control only once!!!!
This car has a 7-speed auto and with paddles which can be driven in manual mode. The E63 M6 features a carbon fibre roof, lightweight construction materials, including thermoplastic quarter panels, aluminum doors and hood, and a thermo-fibre plastic trunk lid.
Styling has been described as : Aggressive front bumper with larger air intakes, sporty side skirts, and a rear diffuser.
