What do you get when you combine German engineering and American styling?
A future classic collectible with an art deco flavour.
Built in Germany by Karmann and powered by a (Mercedes‑Benz) 3.2‑litre V6 , delivering 160 kW (215 hp) and 310 Nm of torque and essentially a Mercedes SLK with a Chrysler body over the top.
With 19" alloy wheels at the rear and 18" alloy wheels up front the Crossfire has unique style while delivering pure driving excitement and increased stability with its race car style set up.
Comfortably appointed with leather steering wheel, power steering, and heated front seats, power windows, leather seats, cruise control, remote central locking and dual zone climate control air conditioning.
This car has been so much fun to drive being used as a daily driver for over ten years.
The cars condition reflects this with the type of wear you would expect for a car this age.
It has never been in an accident since we owned it and is very straight with only minor body blemishes (it sits so low car doors are its enemy)
The soft top no longer retracts and requires replacement as the join in the top is failing. I taped up one side 12 months ago as shown and it has held fine.
Full replacement can be done locally and if we hadn't leased a new car this would have been our next project.
The car has recently had over $4000 spent on it including new tyres, front lower control arms , O2 and crankshaft angle sensors
Registered until September 26 and has had a roadworthy.
The potential as future collectible means that this could be a rewarding project for someone to either enjoy now or in the future.
