A racing car that happens to be road legal.
This Gen 2 996 GT3 is a very special car. The last of the famous Metzger engines, the drive experience is exhilarating, raw and fast!
Significant improvements were made in the 996.2 GT3 including more power, larger brakes, improved suspension, not to mention the more desirable headlights and a rev limit at 8200rpm. The car is lighter than the Gen 1 with many enhanced engine components and further refinements increasing the power output.
This car was ordered by the then Porsche club president and optioned with the RS spoiler and splitter. One of only 35 GT3 club sport imported into Australia and in the very desirable release colour of speed yellow. The car is in excellent condition, with almost flawless paintwork, and an exceptionally clean interior. Recaro sports bucket seats, Alcantara steering wheel and headliner, red seatbelts, complete toolkit and harnesses, the car also comes with a complete roll cage (not installed).
Complete books, two sets of keys and a large history file accompany the car. Recently serviced with all new Michelin Pilot Sport tyres. Always serviced by Porsche specialists, and only through Porsche Centres in Melbourne for the last 9 years.
