Mature owner - longstanding member of the Lotus Club of Queensland - regrettably selling due to the arrival of a (slightly more comfortable) Lotus Evora to the garage.

The car has always been kept in a garage and covered between uses. Apart from servicing and other maintenance, the car has only ever been started and used for long day and overnight trips, once or twice a month. Most of the time, washing and refuelling (BP Ultimate only) completed on the same day as use.
Fully documented, comprehensive service and maintenance history file available and will be provided to potential buyers prior to sale. Lotus Main Dealer and Lotus Specialists have been retained exclusively to maintain this vehicle from new.
The car is completely standard and original, apart from the following comfort and reliability modifications:
• SSC Triple Bypass Radiator
• Nitron FR-S2 Elise K-Series Fast Road springs and shock absorbers
• Leather seats and door cards
• Front clam repainted in 2007 by Exclusive Auto Centre (Ferrari and Lotus specialists) after the right front wheel arch had a very minor low speed scrape.
Rover K-Series
The car is in the sweet spot between the introduction of the simpler short roof, and the end of the Rover K-Series engine, before the change to the Toyota 1ZZ motor which increased weight by 180 Kg.
The 2004 K-Series is recognised as the lightest and purest model of the S2 Elise production run.
