This isn’t your average Statesman, it’s been tastefully modified and sounds as good as it goes. It has that tough lumpy idle with strong performance right through the rev range. Still very easy to drive, cruises nice and isn’t over the top unless you want it to be. I purchased the car in 2016 at 100,000km and since then it’s only been driven occasionally (roughly once a fortnight on weekends). All modifications have been carried out during my ownership and it has been well looked after throughout that time. Regretful sale due to house renovations, I wouldn’t be selling it otherwise.
