Great condition for its age, runs nicely and goes very well. I believe I am the fourth owner; the first was a female executive, the third a father/son special vehicle enthusiast duo and then me for over seven years.
The previous owners replaced the carpet, leather steering wheel, leather handbrake grip, leather transmission grip and all four alloy wheels with original equipment while Holden was still operating. They also replaced the radio/cd player with a Bluetooth entertainment system. I recently replaced the headlining. No alloy wheel has a kerb mark. Some touched up stone chips in the leading edge of the bonnet are the only paint finish damage.
The Monaro has always been stored under cover while the previous owners and I have had it.
Tyres are Goodyear Eagle F1 with only 5000 kms on the clock. The battery was replaced in Feb 2025.
Servicing in recent years has been done by the local Holden service centre with its most recent annual service completed on 23 Dec 2025. On 24 Feb 2026 both drive belts were replaced.
The interior is just short of immaculate, with feint marks on the driver seat bolster (see photo) the only damage or wear mark. The dash has always been protected by a dash mat (taken off for photos).
For those not completely across Monaro specifications, this is the last model built and was specced for export to the US. It scored extra dash gauges, a vertical fuel tank behind the rear seats, bonnet nostrils, the heavy duty transmission used by HSV at the time and the most powerful factory engine in the Holden Monaro lineup at 260 kW.
In my ownership the Monaro was for longer trips only and not a runabout. I am getting too old to climb in and out of her these days and have plans for the garage space. She comes with the dash mat, protective floor mats, a good, clean cover and a clip-in smart charger to feed the power-hungry alarm when not in use. I will miss it but it is time for someone else to have the fun of ownership that I have enjoyed.
Spoil yourself. You deserve it! Tyre-kickers won’t get to drive it.
