This car has the WOW FACTOR for all FORD BA XR8 BOSS 260 Fans! RIP - 1939-2025 Allan Moffat has signed it's engine cover and its Vin # ends in 888, Craig Lowndes raced the Ford BA for Triple Eight Race Engineering in 2005 & 6. As the Personalised Rego Plates HO 260 suggest, it has the amazing bonus of being optioned as a HO (Homologated Options) and is also PHASE AUTO ENHANCED, Inc being badged as a HO INTERCEPTOR. The Number Plates are Included in sale.
We were told when we purchased her back in 2022, that she was a design by Phase Autos and has the extended rear wing and also has the full amazing Homologated Option full fibreglass bonnet with Scoop. Homologated Options is embossed into the front of the bonnet looking amazing.
HO is also integrated into the Front Grill of this car. The Car also has a full leather Red and Black MOMO Steering Wheel and MOMO Gear Knob.
Her full Red and Black leather seats and Interior is gorgeous, and is in new condition so looks incredible not to mention comfy also.
Apparently to find this type of car around now is rare, and to see one in full black is even rarer.
This car is offered for sale but will be a regrettable sale due to lack of room only. Had room allowed, we would have tucked her way for a few years but she's too good to leave out of sight.
When the bonnet is lifted, the reaction is amazing, and photos do not do her justice. Her huge Boss 260 Engine has a gorgeous RED Engine Cover which is signed by Racing Legends , John Bowe (Australian motorsports racing driver) and also Allan Moffat (Canadian-Australian race car driver) RIP 1939-2025, this is once seen not quickly forgotten and RARE! This could even be a once-off signing we are not sure having not had the time to carry out further research ourselves.
The car has headers and cats in Stainless Steel and also has Stainless X-Force Exhaust system installed.
She also boasts Lotus Twist Wheels 19 X 8.5 inches front and rear and includes front PBR Brake Callipers.
When purchased by us, we also had professionally repaired and installed, a new spring and hardware associated with the ignition barrel. This is a common problem with these ignitions on the barrel of this era Falcons. This $ 500 fix has a lifetime warranty as well.
We have also recently fitted cam chain tensioner upgrade so on cold start and all normal running there is no cam chain noise and cam chains are in great condition. We are happy to also send you a current video of this vehicle being started cold.
A Cold Air Intake is also installed on this car by John Bowe Performance as per the sticker on it.
Both the Fuse Box and ECU Cover are fitted with the Stainless Steel version which suits the rest of the magic.
A Flash Tune was carried out on this vehicle on 12.01.2022 , Just before us buying it (we have paper work available) and the result was 216.1 kW - RW.
We are only the 3rd Owners of this car according to paperwork and service books. We have the Owners Manual and Customer Assistance, Warranty and Service Guide also.
This sale will come with current RWC and current Registration, which will be due to expire 11.06.2026
Paint work is great for her 20 year age but has some wear & scuff marks on the rear bumper which we have tried to show on all photos taken.
The front bumper & splitter have both recently (2025) been professionally painted, and have only been driven home from the Paint Shop.
