I am selling my beautiful Volvo due to moving to the country and needing something more practical. I have not been able to give it the care that it needs as I don't have a garage currently and weather it damaging the canvas roof (I will include a car cover with the sale valued at $100). I bought it second hand in 2023 for 10k when I was having a mid-life crisis and have enjoyed driving it every day especially using the Dolby Surround Sound System, seat warmer and putting the top down on warm evenings. Mechanically it is in absolutely perfect condition, very reliable and I have maintained it with regular services a new radiator in 2025 and a new timing belt that was installed 2 weeks ago. It was also serviced 2 weeks ago (next service due at 192,000kms). However, I am selling it much cheaper due to damage to the canvas roof and electrics that inhibit the roof mechanics - it will need repairs/replacement for the roof and passenger window and a trip to an auto-electrician if you want the roof to come off - however it drives perfectly. In the past I was quoted a new canvas roof to be around 5k - but Im not sure if thats increased with inflation. So just to make it clear, at this point I do not recommend putting the roof down (and will not put it down if you come and look) as it requires fixing first. This price of 3.75k does not include a roadworthy.
