Just added music system photos as per message request & display panel showing normal temperature after several local runs.
I'm a pensioner & second owner of this Japanese import.
Have owned it for the past 11 years & has been very reliable until the radiator was replaced late last year.
I've spent $1700 (not including the cost of the new radiator) due to an intermittent over heating problem. After an argument with the first mechanic it turns out the second mechanic said they installed the new thermostat upside down
and it had a cracked air purge valve. Another thermostat & air valve installed. After about a month of driving overheating occurred again. They bleed it again only to return it to me with no coolant in the reservoir tank. Visited my old mechanic
who is not local & he ran a TK test to ensure it wasn't a head gasket & bleed the system again. I now know through YouTube they are a difficult model to bleed. I can't afford any more costs and I need a four door with tow bar as circumstances have changed,
One key & the remote does not work, however my Mr Minit shop said they can cut another & with a new chip, cost $250.
There is minor paint fade above the window arches & on top of the rear spoiler. Also some discolour under the paint on the passenger side front guard which my spray painter would do for $500 cash.
Apart from that the top of the steering wheel leather is worn.
Brake discs & calipers and headlights replaced some years ago.
Air con serviced 24 months ago & all good.
Due for oil service at 165,000 & transmission fluids change at 170,000.
Registered to February 2027.
