This Unique Mercedes-Benz SL-Class SL500 has 17" alloy wheels, leather gear knob, front power windows, rain sensor wipers, power tailgate/boot and limited slip diff (LSD). It has cruise control, leather steering wheel, remote central locking, multi-function control screen and heated front seats. It has climate control air conditioning. Using the multi-function steering wheel, listen to your favourite music and answer calls without taking your hands off the wheel. Comes with the convenience and security of a powered foldaway hardtop. This car has cooled glovebox.
This car has a Designo upgrade from new which includes rare dark walnut trim,gear knob,and steering wheel,top of the range in sports luxury.
The car is rarely driven these days and a reluctant sale due to needing more space,low klms and in great condition as the photos can show .
It has a panoramic glass convertible roof that was also an upgrade when when the car was ordered and works perfectly with no leaks .
The car sits under a velvet cover 90% of the time and is mainly driven on highway and country drives during summer,it is a unique car with all the bells and whistles and I have not found another Designo SL-500 in Australia yet.
It has an aggressive stance with staggered fitment with 20” diameter AMG deep dish spoke wheels with 275/30 Pirelli dragon sport on rear and 245/35 straight dish on front.
The car has had an easy life as the condition and low klms will show, all mechanical components remain in a factory stock condition as it has more that enough power the way it came out.
The next service is scheduled in 12,000 klms but I was advised that the rear brakes should be replaced before that time which I am happy to cover with the RWC.Although this car was purchased by myself from a prominent business man in Melbourne he did not provide an original log book as it was lost but I do have the history on paper that was provided by Mercedes Benz Melbourne and any further servicing also on paper through legitimate Mercedes dealerships.
Please note that some of the original features mentioned by car sales about features of the car are not correct as the refer to base models and not upgraded models such as 17” mags and leather gear knob for example,other features such as air cooled seats and heating may not be mentioned as base models do not have these features.
Only serious buyers need contact me regarding the purchase of this vehicle, inspection is welcomed at a pre determined place of my choice ,this also includes viewing of the vehicle will be done at a police station car park of my choice ,if the buyer does not agree to these terms then the car will not be available for viewing,also please note that time wasters and ridiculous low ball offers will not be considered and a second viewing of the car will not be made available.
In finishing although I would part with this showroom condition vehicle from 2003 I will also be just as happy to hold on and enjoy it myself for years to come if the right offer is not there.
