Up for sale is my 2003 BMW Z4 2.5i manual, a well-cared for example that has been meticulously maintained with comprehensive service history and preventative maintenance throughout my ownership.
Manual Z4s are becoming increasingly difficult to find, particularly examples that have been maintained to this standard and cared for by an enthusiast owner. With its classic long-bonnet roadster styling and smooth, howling naturally aspirated straight-six, the Z4 is a genuinely enjoyable car to drive.
In October 2025, the complete OEM cooling system was refreshed, including:
• New BMW OEM complete radiator assembly
• New BMW OWM water pump & gasket
• New BMW OEM coolant temperature sensor
• New BMW thermatic radiator cooling fan
• New BMW coolant hose
Additional maintenance and replacement items include:
• New BMW left-hand central door lock assembly
• New Brembo cross-drilled front disc rotors
• New Bremtec low-dust front and rear brake pads
• New Bosch front brake pad wear sensor
• New Bendix rear brake wear sensor
• New BMW HEI ignition coils
• New platinum spark plugs
• New rear Potenza tyres fitted in September 2025
The audio system has also been tastefully refreshed with:
• Alpine head unit with Built-in Bluetooth Audio Streaming, Handsfree Phone Calls and Voice Control
• Compact subwoofer with integrated amplifier
• Focal 2-way component speakers
I have also replaced the factory shift knob with a Garagistic Delrin item, as the original leather knob was beginning to show wear.
The car still retains its original BMW first aid kit.
I am a particularly fussy owner and the car has been fastidiously detailed using premium products from Koch Chemie, Bowden’s Own, and Ammo NYC. The paintwork has also been ceramic coated, making ongoing maintenance exceptionally easy. Leather interior is in good condition.
The car is being sold only because I have recently secured another vehicle I have been searching for and unfortunately need to make room for the next project.
Included in the sale are:
• Brand new genuine carbon fibre Veilside front lip imported from Japan
• Full set of rare Hamann HM2 wheels (18x8.5J +38, 5x120) which will need to be refurbished
Neither item has been fitted to the vehicle.
