This 2002 BMW 318i has been an extremely reliable and well-maintained car — a perfect daily that’s comfortable, smooth to drive and still looks great for its age.
I’m only selling because I’m heading off to travel through Europe for the next year, so I won’t be needing a car while I’m away. Otherwise, I’d happily keep it.
The car is in excellent condition both inside and out. The exterior is very clean with minimal to no scratches, and the interior is just as tidy with leather seats in great condition and no cracking. Everything works exactly as it should — air conditioning, windows, electrics — all perfect.
A major highlight is the Apple CarPlay head unit I’ve installed, which gives the car a much more modern feel with easy access to maps, music, and calls. The original BMW head unit will also be included with the sale.
The car has some mechanical work done recently including:
Brand new alternator
Brand new radiator (cooling system sorted)
New PCV valve
Full service just completed
Oil, oil filter, and air filter all replaced
It currently has 228,064 km on the clock and drives smoothly with no issues. The car comes with a Roadworthy Certificate (RWC) and a full tank of fuel, ready to go.
The car has had only one previous owner before me (an elderly lady) and has clearly been well looked after its entire life.
It’s a clean, reliable, and well-sorted example of a BMW E46 that’s getting harder to find in this condition.
