Sadly, age has forced me to give up outback camping, so Its time to sell my 2001 Toyota Landcruiser tray back. Bought second hand in 2008 to carry a slide on camper, I've owned it for 18 years.
Good mechanically - front hubs, and brakes renewed 18,000 kms ago, new alternator 15,000 kms ago, gearbox rebuilt 30,000 kms ago. Bonnet and roof resprayed 3 months ago, but other paintwork is only fair. New tyres on rear, front tyres have done 18,000kms. Limited slip diff. Power steering.
Extras include - Tough Dog suspension, long range fuel tanks, side steps, winch, snorkel, roof rack with basket and storage bag, 2 x 12 volt outlets fitted behind seats. Dual battery system with Alison plugs ready for solar panel connection and/or slide on camper, aluminium tray and dogbox.
Would be great for tradie, or for someone looking for a 4 wheel drive to carry their slide on camper into the wilderness. Been around Australia once, and across Australia 3 times
