Up for sale is my 2001 Peugeot 406 coupe series 2. This drives and sounds A1 and is a stunning looking car in metallic Byzance Blue, complimented by the sought after ROH Moderna rims. The car has had a closed door respray around 4 years ago. The Recaro leather seats are in great nick and very comfortable for long drives. The engine is absolutely superb with no oil leaks or burn and is quite quick with the manual 5 speed and sports exhaust. It is the 157kw engine helped tuned by Porsche. This was owned by my late father from around 2006. It was originally owned by a prominent federal Labor minister from new. Plenty of work done recently which includes- New slotted front discs and pads New engine mounts New ignition coils which have enhanced performance noticeably New wiper arms New ac compressor(cold ac) 4 new tyres Recent service Features include Rain sensing wipers Electric windows, mirrors, seats with memory and a genuine Peugeot electric sunroof. Brembo brakes Recaro leather interior, steering wheel Trip computer 6 stack cd player in boot Headlight washers Heated seats(not working) Fog lights f & r Cruise control 2x keys The central locking works only manually. The washer jet covers are missing and the rear bumper has a crack. The brake light stays on but brakes work very well. Camshaft belt will need replacing in around 10000 ks, hence lower price. This is a superb example of these great cars and I'm only selling because the doors are huge and hard to get in and out at my age with minor back/neck issues.
