My partner and I are selling ‘Shira Lee’, a very trendy van that is perfect for adventuring or full time living! We purchased her a few years ago from our close friends who built the interior and then travelled around Australia in it. We had similar ambitions, although we quickly realised that we weren’t ready to leave our jobs. ‘Shira Lee’ has since been parked in our street for the past 4 years, rarely getting used. As you can imagine we are tired of paying registration for a vehicle we aren’t using, hence why we are selling.
The van is in good condition functionally. When we first purchased it, it was serviced by my mechanic who I’ve used for the past 10 years. At the time it needed new brakes, tires and an oil change and she was good to go. He claimed it was in good condition, and if taken care of, it will keep driving for a long time. We haven’t serviced it since, but we’ve always run the engine every fortnight. We took her for a spin down to the car wash to ensure she was presentable for photos, and she’s still driving just fine.
