I was away for the past two months and sorry for the inconvenience if you have been interested. I am back and ready to sell it now.
Immaculate condition for its age, not only the interior and exterior, but also the mechanical components. You can barely find a W210 E-Class in this condition these days. And w210 is already considered as a modern classic which holds value better than even some newer models.
Please note that this is a V6 2.6, not 2.4. It's also trim level Elegance. The carsales database seems not very accurate. All the facelift version W210 came to Australia after late 2000 all came in with v6 2.6 for E240. The vin code and engine code further prove it.
The car was first registered June 2002 in Sydney. The original owner traded the car back to the dealer before my uncle bought it about 8 years ago and brought it from Sydney to Brisbane.
In Jan 2026, my uncle can no longer drive a car and gifted it to me. I got the roadworthy certificate and transferred it to my father's name for concession rego savings. I have a 4wd and an Alfa Romeo sedan, plus my wife's SUV. Too many regos and too many insurance policies/roadside assistance. After discussing with my uncle, we decided to sell it.
The car has just passed RWC in Jan for being transferred from my uncle. It will easily pass the RWC again. The price includes the balance of the rego (2 months till 10-July) and RWC. For genuine buyer, we may negotiate a little bit.
RWC will be arranged after deposit is received, normally within 2-3 days.
The car has been serviced the past 8 years by German Prestige Services in Yeeongpilly. It has never missed anything needing replacement or service. Runs very smoothly. According to the mechanics, this engine and transmission combo is one of the most robust drive train Merc has ever made for petrol engine. Just keep doing the proper service, it will last you up to near 500K.
The most recent service was just completed in Feb. An old transmission oil seal was replaced, and the engine ECU, transmission, and TCM units were recalibrated, all wheel rotation and alignments. Brake check and calliper piston calibration done.
The next general oil service should be done after 10K. The next transmission full service should be done at 210K. (It was supposed to be done every 60K. When my uncle just got the car, he did one straight away with very short interval at about 90K. Then another one at 150K.)
It comes with 2 sets of keys, booklets, a removable towbar set, and even the Mercedes first aid kits. All 4 tyres are Goodyear Assurance Comforttred with 70% left. Brakes are 80-90% new. A lot of suspension components have been replaced in 2024.
All of the 8 speakers have been replaced by the end of March with high quality ones. The original speakers were too old and making the cracking sound.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
