3200GT. 3.2L Twin Turbo V8, Automatic - BTR 4-Speed. A savior of the marque and back to the Grand Touring roots. Imported from Japan to Australia in 2008. Has been in the country ever since. Driven down to Melbourne from Sydney earlier this year and never missed a beat. Lots of items have been replenished to bring the tourer back up to life. Previously owned by manager at Ferrari-Maserati Sydney. Then a British lad bought it to enjoy for the last 5 years. He moved back to the UK. He had spent coin for the car to be maintained; but not enough nevertheless. Drivable condition and barely put a couple thousand kms on the dash. See NSW registration check. Since ownership have performed the following: Engine bay: Sump re-sealed with oil cooler removed and drained. 10W-60 GT1 LiquiMoly Oil and genuine filter replaced. Timing belt, roller bearings and new tensioner installed. Water pump inspected to be in good standing(clean breather hole). Full coolant flush. Fresh Cuna certified coolant replenished. Important as composite head gaskets. Dave Shanks throttle body refurbished - Contactless unit installed. New 2x air filters. New cabin filter installed. Fuel lines to engine have fresh rubber sections to prevent fire. Fuel filter had been replaced previously. O.K. Fuel pumps both operational; same sound characteristics. New Injector seals and cleaned externally via injector testing machine. Replaced coolant hose from cyl-head to turbo; these never last. Crank position sensor replaced. Original unit intermittent. Redone harness conduit sections and new rubber boots installed. Engine valley cleaned - New inlet manifold O-Rings installed as these typically leak. Rear differential - drained and re-filled with LiquiMoly product. Transmission - Happy to service for new owner. No leaks or drivability issues. Brakes. Fresh fluid and master refurbished. New front disks. Suspension: Fault with active suspension. Still investigating. All actuators are O.K. no cracks. Vert sensor O.K. Front shocks require new absorbers. Front lower control arms had been replaced by previous owner. Front upper ball joints replaced as had play in them. Boots were split. Rear lower control arms; tie end bearings replaced as had play. Boots all replaced. Rear upper control arms. Boots all replaced. Steering rack - 2x Gaiters and both end link boots replaced. Tyres - New but Old. 1x was replaced due to puncture by previous owner. Rims require refurbishment and can be done as extra for new owner. Happy to supply and fit 4x new Michelin PilotSport5 tyres for new owner. Interior: All original; except. Radio replaced by one previous owner(unsure when). Dash leather has shrunk. Will organise to be professionally repaired for new owner. Door tweeter missing cover. Will install new spare unit. New AGM Battery installed. Always an issue with regular Lead-Acid. Exterior: Loveable. Unfortunately was parked on the streets of Sydney for too long. Front grill has been reconditioned as was damaged by previous owner. Original PPF removed from front of vehicle. Grandpa dints all over. Not economical to repair all; but can be done on request. Rear tailgate does not close perfectly. I can have the entire exterior professionally overhauled. But the cost is passed down to new owner. All original 3x keys, keycodes and all books. Invoices from previous owner and my ownership are included. RWC supplied for new owner in Victoria. Can't supply outside of. Hoping this lovely Maserati gets a new home. I have lots of spares and new parts at my workshop. No rush to sell, currently on Club Registration with MOCA. Located Mordialloc 3195. GARAGE 999. Inspections by appointment only.
