When Jaguar used to get it right, they got it RIGHT. A powerful and whiney supercharged 4L V8 AJV8 engine, (derivatives of which were used in Aston, Daimler, Ford and land rover vehicles - a testament to the robust block design) paired with a svelte, sleek, curvy body and interior.
This is OG Jaguar, before they became, well you know...
A 2001 Jaguar XKR - this particular example shows off a special rare factory optional emerald green paint, shifting colours between purple, green and dark blue, depending on how the light hits it. Think British racing green but with a bit more flair. The interior is coded "Oatmeal" (as if you couldnt give it a more british name), with large peices of wood venier and plush soft leather cushion, sitting inside is like being in an old cottage in the Cotswolds.
I've spent a few weeks daily driving the car, just to get to grips with it, and the ride quality blew my mind. If you've never experienced a Mercedes 722.6 5 speed automatic transmission tuned by Jaguar, youre missing out. Not only do the wheels and suspension glide, but the gears glide too. Seriously impressive was my take away. Its also very obvious the car has been well looked after and very regularly maintained. Previous owner didnt let the issues sit for very long before getting them sorted, which is obvious when looking at the extensive and frequent service and work history.
Will come with a RWC, but no rego as the buyer will most likely put this on club reg.
Its Australian delivered, currrently sitting in my warehouse in Altona North 3025, so if you're interested please shoot me a message.
