Hi Everyone, thank you for taking the time to read this add.
This is a unique opportunity to own a piece of Ozzy Holden history
On offer is my immaculately presented one owner,6spd man, LS1 5.7V8 VU SS UTE with 99800 km's on the clock.
After much debate and reluctance, it's time to move it on and allow someone else to enjoy this great icon of Australian motoring history. My partner also suggested, its Her or the Ute, it was a hard decision but, a toss of a coin, best of 3. 😂
About the car, It's been babied all it's life, whatever needed doing was done and as a mature aged owner, it's always been driven with respect and not thrashed..
For the last 5years it has been in storage collecting dust, with the odd country run, weddings and other special events. Other than that, it's the garage Queen at our home in Geelong.
I'm not going to list or ramble on of all the upgrades and the dollars spent on this car, other than to say, it's literally a small fortune spent on getting the car to where it is presently. 12Mths ago, and driven twice since then a Major service was completed which included, "ALL Fluids" changed, diff, gearbox, brakes and especially the coolant. A VCM cold air induction, performance timing chain, new valves, seats & guides, mild cam, new 2"1/2 inch cat back exhaust (100 cell cats), ceramic coated extractors' was installed, the Diff was rebuilt (Timmons bearings/seals) by Geelong diffs, slotted/dimpled rotors and new battery. The leather interior with matching stitching completed 2022,
Lastly, when all the motors internals were finished and the exhaust was put on, i had the ute tuned/dyno'd,a print out is available. It also has a factory sunroof which is rare for this model, but being the last of the 2001 model GM threw in some extras.
The ute runs & handles beautifully, the suspension is as tight as a drum and It's now eligible for club permit as well.
It will come with RWC & Reg upon deposit and with a full service history.
Finally,
These cars will only increase in value as time moves on, everyone who owns a Holden performance car will reap the benefits down the track, especially an SS Ute such as this, with very low k's and in immaculate condition.
