(Actually a ford fairmont)
Great first car, I actually love it. It belonged to my late grandfather, which I inherited. I learned how to drive in this car and it’s great. However, I have finished up Uni and am about to travel abroad. I probably won't come back for a while and I'd love for this car to go to a new home, rather than it wasting away in some storage lot.
Features
- Power steering
- Front and rear power windows
- 2 key sets
- spare parts. (Not sure about its utility, but my grandfather apparently carried around spare parts for the engine.)
- It's petrol. (diesel sucks)
Used it mainly for work and the gym. Hasn't been thrashed. Currently resetting the radio, which just needs the auth number from the original dealership. (I tried to put car play in, was not the right size. The radio thinks it is stolen.)
He wasn't that active in his later years, so it was left in storage for the past decade, before it came into my possession. I fixed up all the electricals and recently I took it in to get it safety certified.
Overtime, I have replaced.
- Window control unit
- Sway bar
- Spark plugs
- The front suspension
- The exhaust brackets.
- Timing belt
My parents were adamant on regular services, so recently she's been pretty well looked after.
I'm fairly set on 15 grand.
Cheers, keen to hear from everyone.
