2000 Defender Td5
Car has had extensive work done to it since ownership. Has had over $30k spent on it. Has been very reliable and always fun car to drive. Turns heads everywhere. Sitting on 285/75/r16 maxis razr AT paired with sought after peco steel rims. There’s heaps been listed below and some extras that I’m sure I’ve forgotten
Can organise roadworthy for the right price
Engine:
- AMC head and head studs(worth $5k)
- EGT delete
- New Airtec front mount intercooler installed worth ($1800) 500kms ago
- Brand new oil and filters just been done 100kms ago
- Running stage 2 MSBtune from ritters. Car pulls great don’t have to drop gears going up hill in 5th. Low end power is great too.
- Sitting at 20 pound of boost is plenty and well and truly safe considering supporting mods.
- New idler puller (5,000km ago)
- New slave and master cylinder (20,000km ago)
- Radiator flush (15,000km ago)
Driveline:
- King pin suspension. Superior 10.5inch shocks on all 4 corners with dobinsons springs to suit 2” lift. Rides amazing ($5k)
- Extended braided brake lines throughout
- Brembo pads all 4 corners done 500kms ago
- Rear brake discs been replaced for brand new OEM 500kms ago
- Double cardigan front prop-shaft
- All bushes underneath car have been replaced for new
- Brand new lemforder rear ball joint
- Old man emu adjustable steering dampener
- Brand new output flange installed to suit double cardan front prop-shaft
- Wheel bearings just been redone on rear
- Front wheel bearings done 10,000kms ago
- Diff breathers front and rear
- Exhaust is 2”3/4 with single offset oval muffler. Car sounds great and doesn’t put out much smoke at all
