1998 Toyota Supra jza80 rz-s. V161 6 speed getrag, ao3b lsd rear end and the legendary 2jz-gte engine.
Owned the vehicle for 5 years. During my ownership it has undergone basically complete restoration. Too much to list but anything that could be purchased new is on the car it was stripped motor out glass out to bare metal and re sprayed in factory 202 black no expense spared. Underside all rock coated also. Heat shields re sprayed etc etc the list never ends. Time and money has been spent.
Vehicle is an oem plus example which retains the stock computer twin turbos and un opened 2jz-gte motor. Sitting on oem 5 spoke wheels staggered set up for the rz models. Mods include:
- tomeii expreme ti titanium exhaust
- new alloy side mount intercooler and brand new hot side cold side powder coated piping.
- sitting on bc gold coils all around
- 4/2 big brake set up, calipers overhauled new seals powder coated and decals applied. New brake pads and dba rotors and dust shields.
- hks turbo timer
- Michelin ps4 tyres all around new
- overhauled steering rack
- new brake booster
- new engine mounts
- air con and heater working
- 2 keys 🔑 and have the original owners booklet ( in Japanese) and multiple receipts of works carried out on the car.
- new clutch (oem)
- new plastics, rubbers, lights, glass
-alpine flush mounted head unit with upgraded speakers and sub located under the passenger seat hidden all tidy.
Car looks amazing sounds great and gets lots of attention, would be extremely hard to find something done to this calibre. Perfect to keep as is and enjoy or to open up and create a 1000hp monster. The choice is yours. Great canvas for either.
Have documented the restoration process with hundreds of photos which can be viewed in person or sent to prospective buyers.
Car is immaculate. It is a genuine example of what Toyota is capable of and a timeless classic. Toyotas hero car.
