This is an amazing 29 year old MANUAL Coupe with sunroof, which in many states can be club registered now.
Next year in NSW. (New, NSW 996 Number plates). This is Not your average car
This car has never been crashed and all paint is original with exception of the front bar recently painted due to stones and minor scuffs that detracted from it.
I have had this car for about 6 years and barely drive it except for short runs to keep oil seals wet. I have a number of other cars and it's time to change direction for me.
This car is a rare 1997 build and the interior is full leather and has not been touched up in any way other than cleaned.
The IMS has been done and it had an engine rebuild in 2015 @ 99400ks mainly due to a head crack. (All paperwork provided) Other items done recently include new front shocks and bushes., 780cca battery and Ctek trickle charger fitting, Car play single DIN radio, new old stock rear window rubber, Carpet mats.
For your peace of mind I had it service at a Sydney Porsche specialist with engine and gearbox oil, brake and clutch fluid flush. They noted that the front end suspension was new and perfect which is rare in a 996 for them. Please note the sound on cold start up video.
The car has a very subtle growl which whilst not offensive is part of that Porsche drive feeling that the newer cars have lost.
It has all books and 2 keys one of which is new.
A/C is cold and everything works in this car including the soft leather power seats.
This car is very reasonably priced for what is an already appreciating classic. There are many commentators who believe the 996 is just coming into it's time. Any negotiation will only happen in person whilst viewing the car, anything else is not doing this rare car justice.
Extras not fitted: Alcantara Gear shifter and boot, Porsche CDR220 radio unit.
