For sale, if price is right, currently have 3 cars and one has to go.
Why 10k? Some might say I'm dreaming, it's not worth that, blah blah... yeah, a standard MR coupe is not.
Question is, if you want one and want to do it up, how much will it cost you?
Don't save this hoping the price will change, it isn't going to, if it doesn't sell when I can afford to, I will keep going with it.
I've done the quick sums, adding up the parts and everything (including 2nd hand prices, not all new) I've spent over $13,000 not including any installation costs or the rust repairs or the initial $4000 I spent on the car itself.
I didn't go cheap on any parts because cheap doesn't last.
So 17k not including rust repairs or any services or installation costs!
Here, you get an MR coupe, Manual, with only 104,500ks!
I bought it with 98,500ks on it over 12 months ago.
Stock with 105k's for an MR Manual would be 4k, 5k with a roadworthy?
This car is for someone wanting one of these with most of the work/parts sorted.
What you get.
1998 Lancer MR Coupe with only 105,000ks - Body is STRAIGHT. Really straight!
Also, MR, means Cup Holders, CD stacker, Fog lights and switch, body kit and tacho!
Just installed all 4 new Kicker speakers 6.5 inch front and back without changing the look.
Just installed a period correct CD player that is connected to the stacker in the boot. Still has original cassette deck.
Just installed 2 new amps (Hertz and MTX - under passenger seat) and 2 x new (old) Response 10 inch subs and box. Professionally installed, not backyard, so full warranty.
Along with the VGC interior you get a pair of genuine Recaro EVO front seats that can bolt straight in! Also comes with brand new confetti fabric to re-upholster.
Genuine 16inch RPF1 Enkei wheels (nearly spotless) with ZERO curb rash.
Now, the rears have bolt on spacers as the offset is not correct so to be roadworthy you will need a cheap set to throw on the back.
Tyres are under 1000kms and are Yokahama directional Advan Fleva, 205/50/16
Just worn in Excedy HD Clutch and new flywheel - still have old one which is fine, only had 103ks on it.
BC-DS Series Coilovers.
Guards rolled by Melbourne Guard Rolling
New front brakes, slotted rotors and new pads. Less than 2000ks ago.
But wait, there's more!
Also comes with Turbo set up.
Manifold, Turbo (untested so unsure) intercooler and piping. ECU and new injectors for the turbo build.
Saas steering wheel (working horn) and boss kit - still have original wheel.
Canon exhaust professionally built and ready for a turbo build (halfway built basically).
Genuine EVO front strut brace.
Spare drip moulds in very good condition with new clips for them. I had these for when I was going to respray.
Standard muffler and airbox and gearknob included.
Spare set of door window controls can be included.
COMPLETE Genuine EVO 4 boot as pictured (minor damage)
Also have a Genuine EVO 6 WING
Can come with personalised plates and Rego but no Roadworthy - Eligible for club Reg as it is 28 years old
Dash mat new
Floor mats
Gear knob aftermarket - Ebay special
Replaced ash tray as it was faded
Enkei wheel nuts and lock (genuine from Japan)
Rust removal from typical trouble spot fixed.
CONS.
Paint - It's a CE Lancer
Drip moulds - which is why I have a better set waiting
Passenger door doesn't open without holding the lock open
Reat wheels need spacers due to offset - they are bolt on proper ones, not cheap ones, the tough aluminium
Windscreen has a crack in the bottom, it had it when I bought it but it passed a roadworthy, apparently.
So since owning, in under 6000kms
Installed - Exedy HD Clutch
Installed - BC DS Racing coilovers
Installed - Enkei 16 inch RPF1s and Yokaham tyres
