- new Belts
- recent wheel alignment
- 200k major service and follow up service: air filter, spark plugs, battery terminals, new fuel filter, general service (oil change, oil filter, brakes checked)
- battery replaced late 24'
- good km's for her age, currently at 233,500 these vans often get to 400-500,000km easily if cared for, owned since 135k and I am 3rd owner and regular servicing (all receipts kept) has been done throughout the vans life, she's been very well looked after for her age, never missed a beat, a lot of travel all over the country extensively all over remote areas never had a major breakdown, lots of highway driving, she cruises well at 100-110km, she has been incredibly reliable for 5 years of travel!
Aircon&heater work amazing, I have the rear aircon sealed up to prevent critters making it their home but it works just fine
Regrettably selling as I'm upgrading to a 4x4 ute and won't be full time travelling, if I had the funds I'd keep her.
Ready for a lap of Aust!
Any repairs or breakdowns have all been due to parts reaching the end of their life cycle and even exceeding the expectancy, no accident history, all fluids recently replaced and presently she is in decent mechanical working order and all recent repairs and part replacements were completed to keep her that way, she should be pretty good for sometime until next major service at 300k.
My mechanic is more than happy for a serious buyer to speak with him about the vehicle, he serviced her mid March.
Misc:
I am the 3rd owner, 1st owner till 5k, a community centre who used her as a mini bus for teens (some of their etchings are still visible on windows/interior paint), 2nd owner had her to 135,000km who took really good care of her and built her into a camper until they were physically unable to drive/use her for camping trips (elderly couple), I've had her since.
She has a towbar, awning, fold out bench, storage.
Cons: as she's a 27yr old vehicle she has cosmetic wear, scratches, surface rust, a chunk of rust that has been there since I purchased her on RHS bottom corner of windshield (see photo, I bought her like this as SA doesn't require roadworthy so if you're planning Vic/other state Rego this will need to be resolved) stone chips on the front panel, door dints, general wear and tear however despite her age the cosmetic wear is relatively good in comparison to other vans her age that I've seen.
Things she needs mechanically:
At present nothing, she's been well looked after.
-headlight glass is holding together fine but both were cracked by road train stones a few months ago in NW WA, I may replace these before sale but they are $150 on eBay for a set.
- horn was recently replaced but press pad may have issue as it intermittently works.
Things she needs for being used as a camper:
New bedding, new curtains as the ones currently installed are old and in desperate need of replacement, not just physically but aesthetically too.
She's ready for a full strip and build out, renovation, or as is, she has served me well being just a very basic set up, if I were to keep her she'd have a built in sink, new storage (including roof rack and internal roof storage), solar and batteries, and lighting fixtures. The floor is masonite board with lino over the top which is still in relative good condition considering the usage, she has plenty of storage under the bed & in the built in cabinets, room for more installations if required, fridge pantry
For serious buyers I am willing to travel Vic or SA for sale but for inspection please contact to discuss a meeting point.
Lots of info to deter time wasters and because this is the info I wish to know when considering purchasing a vehicle.
Questions welcome.
In no rush to sell, will consider reasonable offers.
