One awkward hit close to fuel filler.
Auto, air con, power steering, central locking
Wind up windows. (Driver's window has issues)
Was a smoker's car and has a smell. (In the process of correcting this)
Roof liner sagging and stapled to hold it up.
Centre console is damaged.
Driver's door trim is tatty. Looking to replace.
Comes with original purchase books from March 1997.
Originally NSW delivered vehicle.
Cheap, reliable transport, and appreciating Aussie classic.
These were the last ones before the heavier VT, hence a more enjoyable and spritely drive. Invigorating and extremely capable. Easy to get demerit points with, so go slowly. Great visibility and road holding. Light on fuel and very spacious. Able to cover long distances in comfort and with consummate ease......
Air bag model for driver and front passenger!
Serves as a cheap entry level to club permit scheme, whilst being a competent spare vehicle when your regular car takes longer than usual to repair! (Tell me about it!)
Kill TWO birds with ONE stone!!!
And then, on the way out of ownership, reap future increases in value.
It's a WIN WIN WIN situation!!
This is about as cheap as this model will get before going up in value. Think VL (1987-1988) commodores/calais and you will see what i mean!
(What's an average one worth in today's market?)
I have absolutely NO need to sell. Costs me nothing to keep on the road, on Vic club permit scheme. I will continue to fix things as i get time, and locate good parts, and therefore price will go UP, not down as vehicle is improved.
