1996 Volvo 850 R Estate Engine Type, inline 5, 20 valves, turbocharged 2.3Lt We are offering for sale our beautiful 850R estate that is in magnificent condition. This is an Australian delivered wagon from Kellow-Falkiner Volvo dealership in South Yarra. I am the 3rd owner that has worked with GLT Car Centre (Volvo Specialist) in Brisbane to ensure this highly collectable classic (30 years old) is as good or better then when it rolled off the production line in Sweden. The vehicle is very original with some well appointed enhancements to showcase its sporty heritage and style, a real head turner whenever it travels. I am a member of the Qld Volvo and Saab Club and have now decided to offer this beautiful wagon for sale to the next car enthusiast who will appreciate it's condition and value. The car has been garaged all of its life and has been extensively serviced and pampered. Full service history showing 320,089km that are true and correct with the ECU and mechanical odometer - verified and correct. All service records and receipts have been kept from the start. This wagon has the larger Volvo factory 302mm brake upgrade on the front and 280mm on the rear, nice to have option from Volvo Roof trim - instead of roof rails, factory rear spoiler, front lip spoiler for more aggressive stance, factory strut brace, fully adjustable Koni shocks, very rare carbon fibre rocker cover, full stainless steel 2.5" exhaust from dump pipe to rear and a sports air intake to enhance the mighty 5 cylinder sound (original air box included) - New set of Yokohama Advan AD09 Tyres fitted March 2025 - New wheel refurbishment March 2026 - New turbo rebuild, April 2025 - New 2.5" stainless steel turbo dump pipe, aluminium intercooler pipe, May 2025 - New engine top engine rebuild, July 2025 - New Volvo brake rotors and pads all round (302mm front - 280mm back) November 2025 Mechanical works over the past 12 months have cost close to $20,000. As it stands this mighty 850R drives the way it should and is in perfect order, this vehicle is a turn key and enjoy collectable.
