1996 Manual VW Golf Cabriolet!!
Bit of a Unicorn.
We've owned this lovely car for the last 8 years. We had her resprayed then too & changed the wheels at the time to something with better grip.
I knew the original first owner too as was a colleagues wife's car.
Has full service history from new and recently I have replaced the clutch & done a few other minor bits that needed doing. 2 keys
I have only serviced it at Wolfsburg Motors VW Specialists in . during my ownership.
2.0 Manual Engine gets up and goes and is a lot of fun to drive.
Good stereo & bluetooth phone prep so music on point.
The Roof is electric & is in great condition. No Rips & No Tears & works as it should.
The paint has faded in parts and could do with a refresh & bonnet & boot would benefit with a respray.
I wanted to keep this car and let my kids learn in a manual & be a first car but didn't eventuate.
If you want a reliable old classic that has plenty of charm & appeal while still performing then this maybe the car for you.
if wanted to restore to Immaculate its not a big job either & I considered it but have other projects.
