This Esprit is the 50th Anniversary, only 10 were ever made.
This car was Sold and Delivered Brand New by Lotus Queensland and has always been garaged with car cover.
I purchased this from the Original Owner 24 years ago with only 22,000 km.
Since then I have only added 32,000km and now the car is at an extremely low 54,000 klms.
Comes complete with ALL original Owners Manual/wallet/keys/booklets and heaps of receipts,
This Lotus has been very well looked after and everything has been done regardless of the cost.
For example
New Aluminum fuel tanks at a cost of $5000 were installed about 4 years ago.
The original tanks were steel and had issues with rusting, then making the inside of the car smell of fuel, this requires the engine to be remove to replace the tanks.
Turbo has been rebuilt.
Gearbox has been rebuilt.
New Tyres
New Exhaust
Stereo has been upgraded to DVD Player.
There is no rust anywhere (many imported ones chassis had rust issues from the salt on the road in the UK)
Due to the age of the car there are a couple of paint chips, plus a couple of interior things could be done to freshened it up, its all easy things to do.
Air con Re-gas (which I may do before sale)
plus the front wiper needs to reinstalled (I may do this before sale, its only needs screwing back in).
This would make it concourse.
It's really awesome and real to drive and the analog feel is something sadly not felt today, The Esprit is really a rare sight and the rarity makes it suit any 90's super-car collection globally or any astute ''Young Timer'' car collector for future desirability.
With such low volume numbers built globally and so few left in Australia ( believed to be less than 9) the value this amazing super-car represents is ridiculous when you think about and compare it to other exotics, it looks like half a million dollars driving or sitting still.
